This is an interpretation where there is just a slight delay between the speech of the speaker and the interpretation of the interpreter. They are almost simultaneous. The simultaneous interpretation is performed in specially equipped booths. It reaches the audience via headsets with different interpretation channels.

In consecutive interpretation the speaker and the interpreter take turns at intervals lasting from two – three sentences to several minutes. Usually the interpreter takes notes and reproduces the speech of the speaker.
